Maffra Vic, sites wanted for energy storage systems.

Hello Maffra!

We are looking for a small parcel of land on an existing block to build a new battery substation called a BESS (Battery Energy Storage System).

Farmland would be ideal. We’re looking for somewhere flat, outside of a flood zone and local to the existing substation in station street near the round about.

This battery will support Maffras’s grid and hold power generated by local solar and windfarms for up to 18 hours.
